Job summary

Orem Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing seeks a proactive HR/Payroll Representative to support daily HR operations and payroll processing within a Utah facility. You will help maintain employee records, conduct pre-employment screening, coordinate recruitment and onboarding, and ensure regulatory compliance across state and federal guidelines.

The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to confidentiality, and the ability to communicate clearly with staff and leadership.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum one year of Human Resources experience, preferably in a hospital, long-term care facility, or related health care facility.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with codes, policies, and regulations governing long-term care facilities.
• Maintain employee records and HRIS data entry; handle I-9 paperwork and licensing where required.
• Perform pre-employment screening and coordinate recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Coordinate Leave of Absence requests and processing; maintain confidentiality of personnel records.
• Process payroll twice monthly and assist employees with payroll inquiries.
