Job summary

Universal Health Services (UHS) is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator for Kingwood Pines Hospital. The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and focuses on ensuring efficient HR processes, onboarding, file maintenance, and recruitment support across a 116-bed behavioral health facility near Houston.

Ideal candidates will have 2+ years in HR/admin support in healthcare, strong organization, confidentiality, and proficiency with MS Office; a HS diploma is required and an associate

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience in HR or administrative support in health care preferred.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and confidentiality skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new hires meet all position requirements before start date, including license, education, background, and drug screening.
• Organize and conduct orientation and onboarding for new employees.
• Prepare and maintain employee files, HRIS, and filing systems per standards; assist with regulatory surveys.
• File all employee changes and transactions in a timely manner.
• Assist HR Director with recruitment and pre-employment activities, including candidate communication and scheduling.
• Maintain online education/training records and curriculum.
