Capital Medical Group, a newly acquired physician practice within Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, seeks a Temporary Human Resources Generalist to support the HR department for up to 10 weeks in the Washington, DC area.

The role delivers essential HR support across employee relations, performance management, reporting, and leave administration in a large multi‑specialty medical practice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required.
• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.

Responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support to CMG HR Operations and service line leaders.
• Support performance management, employee engagement, orientation, reporting, and HR systems administration.
• Administer leave of absence processes including FMLA, ADA, and return‑to‑work.
• Assist with policy interpretation, investigations, and dispute resolution; complete Personnel Action Forms; update Lawson records.
