Job summary

Oak Plains Academy, a UHS Company in Tennessee, is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to manage full-cycle recruiting, orientation, onboarding, records management, and data integrity. The role also oversees HealthStream training, staff licensure renewals, and various HR projects in a collaborative team setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with three to five years of Human Resources Generalist experience.
• Full cycle recruiter experience, including on-boarding new employees preferred, healthcare experience is preferred.
• Experience mediating employee concerns and exercising sound professional judgment to make recommendations in the best interest of the facility and its employees required.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and other federal, state and local laws and regulations that govern healthcare preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are required. Must possess superb problem solving and multi tasking skills with effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Must have the skill set to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Excellent computer skills required. Must be proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook applications.
• 21 years of age, with a valid driver's license in good standing.
• Flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle recruiting, including sourcing and selecting candidates.
• Coordinate and facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Maintain employee records and data integrity; manage trainings and licensure renewals.
• Track employee in-services and HealthStream training assignments.
• Provide administrative support to executives and committees; assist with special HR projects.
