Job summary

LAENT is seeking an HR Generalist to provide hands-on HR support across its multi-location medical practice in Hawthorne, CA. The role manages employee relations, investigations, leave administration, accommodations, workers’ compensation, and compliance while guiding clinic leadership and the HR Manager to ensure consistent practices and risk mitigation.

Travel to LA CENTA clinic locations in Los Angeles County is required; the position serves as a resource for HR colleagues and supports

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of progressive HR experience with substantial hands-on employee relations experience and knowledge of California employment practices.
• Experience conducting investigations, advising managers, administering leaves and accommodations, and coordinating workers’ compensation matters.
• Strong judgment, confidentiality, documentation, communication, organization, and independent problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with HR information systems and common office applications.

Responsibilities

• Provide experienced HR support across multi-location medical practice.Independently manage employee relations and workplace investigations; document findings.
• Coordinate leaves of absence and reasonable accommodations; manage return-to-work processes and notices.
• Partner with clinic leadership and HR Manager to ensure compliant practices and timely resolution of concerns.
• Support HR audits and policy improvements across clinic locations.
