LHH is partnering with an established organization in Valley Center to hire an HR Generalist for a temp-to-hire opportunity. The role focuses on benefits, leaves of absence, recruitment, and employee relations, with many processes currently managed manually.

Ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly detail-oriented, and can handle sensitive employee information with professionalism. On-site, full-time hours, Mon–Fri, 8:00am–4:30pm.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of HR experience in a generalist or related role.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to catch errors and inconsistencies.
• Comfortable working in environments with manual HR processes and documentation.
• Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day HR operations including employee inquiries and issue resolution.
• Administer employee benefits and assist with enrollment, changes, and questions.
• Manage and track leaves of absence (LOAs), ensuring compliance and documentation accuracy.
• Assist with full-cycle recruitment including job postings, screening, and coordination.
• Maintain and update HR documentation, records, and employee files.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with a high level of professionalism.
• Ensure accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping across manual and internal systems.
• Partner with internal teams to support HR processes and improvements.

Compensation & Schedule

• $28–$30/hour
• Temp-to-hire opportunity
• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• 8:00am-4:30pm
• Fully onsite in Valley Center

Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
