Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to streamline HR functions and support employees and managers across recruitment, records management, and HR projects.

The role includes screening and interviews, FMLA oversight for benefits, and delivering exceptional customer service while supporting survey readiness and HR initiatives. Strong organizational skills and proficiency with MS Office are required.

Qualifications

• PHR and/or SPHR certification preferred.
• BA/BS degree in Personnel Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and identify candidates for recruitment.
• Manage FMLA processes and benefits coordination.
• Provide outstanding customer service to employees and managers.
• Assist in federal, state, and Joint Commission survey preparedness activities.
• Contribute to HR projects and serve as a project coordinator when needed.
