Job summary

Encompass Health Corporation seeks a Human Resources Coordinator to streamline HR functions and support employees and managers. You will screen resumes, assist recruitment, manage employee records, and help deliver excellent customer service within a healthcare setting.

This role covers FMLA administration, survey readiness, HR projects, and coordination duties. Ideal candidates bring 1–3 years HR experience, a BA/BS related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• PHR and/or SPHR certification preferred.
• BA/BS in Personnel Administration, Hospital Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred (experience may substitute for four year degree).
• One to three years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in healthcare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Publisher, PowerPoint) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen resumes and identify candidates to support recruitment.
• Manage FMLA processes.
• Provide outstanding customer service to employees and managers.
• Assist in federal, state, and Joint Commission survey preparedness activities.
• Contribute to HR projects and serve as a project coordinator when necessary.
