Job summary

Universal Health Services is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide administrative support for HR programs and services to employees at a Kingwood Pines Hospital facility. You will assist with onboarding, employee files, HRIS, regulatory documentation, and recruitment activities while maintaining sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality.

The role reports to the Director of Human Resources and requires strong organizational skills, independent work style, and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• Two (2) years’ experience performing human resources and/or administrative support duties in a health care setting preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently, detail oriented, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Ensure new hires meet position requirements before start date, including license, education, employment history, and background checks.
• Organize and conduct orientation and onboarding for all newly hired employees.
• Prepare and maintain employee files, HRIS, and filings according to standards; assist with regulatory surveys as needed.
• File employee changes and HR transactions in a timely manner.
• Assist HR Director with recruitment and pre-employment activities and candidate communication.
• Maintain online education and training records and curriculum as required.
