Select Specialty Hospital - Northeast New Jersey in Rochelle Park, NJ is seeking an on-site Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) to partner with operations and the HR Shared Services team to support caregivers, leaders, and hospital operations. You will coordinate payroll, benefits, onboarding, and workforce planning while ensuring compliance and excellent employee experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business or related field required. Commensurate experience possible with approval.
• 2 years Human Resources experience required.
• Healthcare HR experience and exposure to Joint Commission/CMS preferred.
• Familiarity with benefits, payroll administration, and state/federal employment laws.

Responsibilities

• Own and coordinate day-to-day HR operations at the hospital level, ensuring high-quality execution across the employee lifecycle.
• Partner with HR Shared Services to deliver payroll, benefits, talent acquisition, employee data, and HR administration.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and service-oriented resource for employees and leaders.
• Coordinate payroll processing, timekeeping, and data integrity.
• Support talent acquisition, onboarding, and workforce planning.
• Maintain compliance with employment laws and regulatory standards.
• Act as local SME for benefits, policies, and HR processes.
• Support employee relations with professionalism, discretion, and consistency.
• Help build a positive, high-performing workplace culture and contribute to HR strategy.
