Capitol Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to support onboarding, payroll, benefits, and HR compliance in a busy skilled nursing and long-term care environment.

You will help maintain employee records, coordinate hiring activities, and assist with payroll while upholding our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence. This is a full-time, on-site role offering a competitive hourly rate.

Qualifications

• Prior HR or administrative experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional communication with a welcoming, service-focused approach.
• Discretion with confidential information and sensitive data.
• Familiarity with HR processes, policies and compliance.
• Experience with payroll, timekeeping, or HRIS systems preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn HR software.

Responsabilités

• Assist with onboarding and orientation to provide a welcoming experience for new employees.
• Coordinate pre-employment requirements, including background checks, reference checks, employment verification, and new hire paperwork.
• Support recruitment by scheduling interviews, communicating with candidates, and coordinating hiring activities.
• Maintain accurate employee records, credentials, and HR documentation while protecting confidentiality.
• Assist with biweekly payroll, including reviewing timekeeping records and coordinating corrections.
• Respond to routine employee questions about policies, benefits, and HR processes, escalating concerns as appropriate.
• Support benefits enrollment, leave documentation, and employee status changes.
• Help coordinate employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and retention initiatives.
• Track required training and documentation and assist with HR audits and regulatory reviews.
• Partner with HR and facility leadership on daily administrative needs and special projects.
