Job summary

Capitol Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center and The Terraces at Capitol Village are seeking a Human Resources Director to lead HR operations in a full-time capacity within a compassionate healthcare environment.

The role includes staff relations, onboarding, payroll processing, and compliance with employment laws, wage/hour rules, and OSHA requirements. A strong payroll acumen and healthcare HR experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in HR within a nursing center or healthcare setting.
• Strong ability to build relationships and gain staff support.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of employment law, wage/hour rules, and OSHA compliance.
• CCRC experience preferred and payroll acumen.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities of Human Resources Director:

• Maintaining professional communication with staff and patients for HR-related concerns
• Processing payroll on a biweekly basis
• Assisting with onboarding new staff members, processing background checks, and reference checks for new staff members
• Other duties related to HR

Qualifications of Human Resources Director:

• Prior experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage, and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc.
• CCRC experience preferred, and Strong Payroll acumen.
