Job summary

Capitol Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center/Terraces at Capitol Village is seeking a Human Resources Director for a full-time role in the Harrisburg area. The position offers a salary range of 65k-75k and focuses on payroll, onboarding, and HR operations within a healthcare setting.

You will work with Marquis Health Consulting Services and be part of a team committed to compassionate care and staff development. The role emphasizes relationships, compliance, and organizational excellence.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting.
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain staff support.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Knowledge of employment law, wage & hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, and privacy regulations.
• CCRC experience preferred and strong payroll acumen.

Responsibilities of Human Resources Director:

• Maintaining professional communication with staff and patients for HR-related concerns
• Processing payroll on a biweekly basis
• Assisting with onboarding new staff members, processing background checks, and reference checks for new staff members
• Other duties related to HR

Qualifications of Human Resources Director:

• Prior experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting
• Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
• Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to multitask.
• Knowledgeable of administrative practices and procedures, as well as laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to employment law, wage, and hour rules, labor relations, OSHA, Privacy Act, etc.
• CCRC experience preferred, and Strong Payroll acumen.
