Qualifications

• High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 6 years of experience in a progressive healthcare setting.
• RHIT or RHIA strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and revenue cycle.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of the unit managed.
• Supervise and train staff engaged in HIM functions.
• Maintain liaison with hospital personnel to coordinate efforts.
• Identify priorities, resolve problems, and monitor performance metrics.
• Participate in development of operating goals, policies, and procedures.
