Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior landscaping/grounds maintenance or snow removal experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to operate small powered landscape tools safely.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Ability to work outside in the elements; flexible to changing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Cuts and maintains lawns and grass.
• Rakes leaves and cares for plants, trees and shrubs.
• Performs snow removal in accordance with guidelines.
• Maintains grounds clean and free of debris for first impression and beautification.
• May repair outdoor furniture to maintain safe conditions.
• Maintains landscape power equipment in good operating condition.
• Stress safety as top priority.
• Informs Grounds Coordinator of any unsafe conditions.
