Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking a Consultant I in Professional Services to guide clinics through front desk and patient access workflows, from scheduling and registration to insurance eligibility, reminders, and point-of-service payments.

You will conduct discovery, configure best-practice processes, document gaps and client interactions, and support Go-Live adoption to achieve reduced no‑shows, cleaner data, faster check-in, and improved collections.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in consulting or ambulatory health IT implementations.
• 6+ years healthcare client experience.
• Experience leading process improvement or transformation projects.

Responsibilities

• Render on-site, corporate, and remote consulting services.
• Lead discovery to define configurations and workflows.
• Build and edit best practice front desk workflows.
• Document gaps and client interactions using standardized processes.
• Provide Go-Live support and adoption of the company's products.
• Travel up to 75%.
