Job summary

NextGen Healthcare, Inc. seeks a Professional Services Consultant to guide client Front Desk and Patient Access implementations.

You will work remotely with healthcare practices, leading discovery, configuring workflows, and advising on best practices to improve scheduling, registration, eligibility, and payments. This role requires 6+ years in healthcare IT consulting, travel up to 75%, and a Bachelor's in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Experience in healthcare IT consulting or ambulatory health information systems is required.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and software life cycle is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Render consulting services at client sites, corporate offices, and remotely.
• Provide consultative advice, recommendations, and solutions reflecting best practice workflows.
• Perform and document Discovery for new implementations and determine client configurations.
• Build, configure, maintain and edit best practice workflows to meet client needs.
• Document gaps in product functionality using standardized processes.
• Document all client interactions using standardized processes.
• Responsible for Go-Live support and adoption of the company’s products.
• Travel up to 75%.
