Job summary

NextGen Healthcare is seeking a Consultant I, Professional Services to help healthcare practices optimize front desk workflows from scheduling to point-of-service payments. You will lead discovery, configure workflows, and support adoption with measurable improvements in no-shows, data quality, and collections.

You will work with practice leaders, administrators and front-office teams, traveling as needed to client sites or corporate offices and occasionally working remotely.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of consulting or implementation experience with ambulatory health information systems.
• Experience with healthcare-oriented clients and projects.
• Knowledge of process improvement and clinical/business transformation.
• NextGen NCP Certification within 6 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Render consulting services at client sites, corporate offices, and remotely.
• Provide consultative advice, recommendations, and solutions reflecting best practice workflows.
• Perform and document Discovery to determine client configurations and workflows.
• Build, configure, maintain and edit best practice workflows to meet client needs.
• Document identified gaps in product functionality using standardized processes.
• Document all client interactions using standardized processes.
• Go-Live support and adoption of NextGen products.
• Travel up to 75%.
