Qualifications

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors at a healthcare facility by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Staff the front desk, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and visitor authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate entry records in accordance with site policies.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and security-related systems from a stationary post; report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, and facility concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and contacting emergency services when directed.
• Communicate professionally with healthcare staff and the public, provide directions and general assistance, and document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately.
