The role emphasizes customer service, incident response, and collaboration with campus partners. You will handle logs, issue temporary credentials, and coordinate with security teams as needed;

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Minimum age: 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required under federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• License may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Greet students, staff, visitors and verify access at the front desk.
• Monitor access points and security systems from the front desk.
• Respond to incidents calmly and notify appropriate responders.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs and issue temporary credentials.
• Coordinate with campus personnel as needed.
