Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Front Desk Credential Reconciliation in Wayne, NJ to greet visitors, manage access, and support patient and staff safety in a healthcare environment. You will use front desk systems, verify IDs, log entries, respond to incidents, and coordinate with site contacts and emergency responders while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Five years of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Criminal histories considered as allowed by law.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements may apply for certain positions.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service at the front desk by greeting visitors, patients, vendors, and/or staff and directing them per site procedures.
• Manage visitor access by verifying identification, issuing credentials, maintaining logs, and communicating entry requirements.
• Monitor front desk activity and systems for unusual or unauthorized activity and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance in a calm, professional manner following healthcare procedures.
• Support a professional healthcare environment by answering phones and coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders.
