Job summary

Lovelace Medical Group in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a full-time Customer Service Coordinator to join our team. You will provide direct customer service and front desk support for the assigned department, including admitting, registering, scheduling, and verifying insurance.

This is a variable shift role in a multispecialty setting. Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, medical terminology knowledge, and experience with insurance plans and office procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Medical Terminology knowledge.
• Knowledge of office procedures.
• Knowledge of insurance plans.
• Skilled in a variety of software applications.
• One (1) year of previously related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct customer service and front desk assistance for the assigned department to include but not limited to admitting, registering, scheduling, and verifying insurance.
• Handles customer account transactions, provides customer assistance, and performs and/or oversees cashiering operations.
• Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
