Job summary

Pivotal Solutions is seeking an FP&A Manager to lead financial planning & analysis for hospital and service line performance in the United States. You will translate complex financial data into actionable insights, partnering with operational leaders to drive informed decision-making.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will mentor analysts, oversee Oracle EPM and reporting, and deliver monthly reviews that improve accountability and growth.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive healthcare finance experience with hands-on financial analysis.
• Experience presenting financial analysis to non-finance operational leaders and translating results into actionable recommendations.
• Experience with service line profitability, patient-level analysis, cost accounting, and provider/clinic analytics.
• 3+ years of leadership experience (direct supervision or mentoring).

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of FP&A analysts delivering financial leadership and decision support to operational and corporate leaders across the enterprise.
• Deliver monthly operating and financial reviews driving accountability, performance improvement, and informed decision-making.
• Oversee financial modeling, business case development, and analytics for capital investments and growth strategies.
• Provide leadership for Oracle EPM systems and reporting, ensuring data integrity, user adoption, and actionable financial insights.
• Collaborate with organizational leaders to align financial analysis with operational performance, cost accounting, and strategic objectives.
• Direct the FP&A operating cadence, including work prioritization, resource allocation, quality assurance, and timely delivery of analytics and reporting.
• Advance the use of modern analytics tools to improve efficiency, automation, and business insight.
• Build trusted relationships with operational, physician, and executive leaders to strengthen Finance's role as a strategic business partner.
• Lead or support strategic initiatives, enterprise priorities, and other responsibilities as assigned.
