Job summary

St. John’s Community Health in Los Angeles, CA seeks a Financial Analyst to integrate actual revenue and expense data with budgets, preparing analyses to influence financial decisions.

You will work with the FP&A Director, CFO and Controller on year-end budgeting, month-end close, and audits, including data reconciliation and reporting accuracy. Strong Excel and GL experience required; healthcare familiarity preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting or related field.
• CPA preferred, but not required
• Four years of experience in related fields

Responsibilities

• Prepares financial and business-related analyses and research for various revenue and expense accounts
• Prepares consolidated forecasts and budgets and analyzes trends in revenue, expense, capital expenditures and other related areas
• Compiles and prepares reports, graphs and charts of data
• Completes data entry accurately in budget software
• Assists with special financial and business-related studies and cooperates with other departments in preparing analyses
• Participates in monthly budget vs. actual meetings with department heads
