Job summary

Stryker Group is seeking a Field Service Technician to service and maintain medical equipment across a territory. You will travel between customer sites, perform installations, diagnostics, and repairs, and ensure equipment operates safely and reliably.

The role emphasizes strong customer communication, detailed documentation, and collaboration with clinical staff and sales partners. A valid license and ability to travel are required, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel frequently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to meet healthcare facility credentialing and PPE requirements.
• Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal partners to deliver exceptional service.
• Travel to hospitals and healthcare facilities to complete service requests and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment issues to restore functionality and minimize downtime.
• Install, maintain, and inspect medical equipment per guidelines and standards.
• Support software, connectivity, and system configuration to maintain performance.
• Coordinate service schedules and communicate findings to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Document service activities, repairs, parts usage, and results in company systems.
• Interpret manuals and engineering docs to resolve equipment issues.
• Work in healthcare environments while adhering to PPE, safety, confidentiality, and company procedures.
