MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Mount Pleasant St. Francis Hospital. The role covers electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general facility maintenance.

The candidate will perform preventive and corrective tasks, assist other trades, and respond to after-hours emergencies. Strong safety and communication skills are required. Work location is at the Mount Pleasant hospital facility; high school diploma or GED and 3+ years healthcare facility maintenance experience are

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 3+ years of healthcare facility repair/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of DHEC, NFPA and TJC codes is preferred.
• Fluent in English (spoken, reading, writing).
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.

Responsabilités

• Repair and maintain electrical fixtures, ballasts, switches.
• Repair plumbing fixtures, valves and drains; perform preventive tasks.
• Operate and test electronic systems (fire alarm, security, timers).
• Maintain, clean and organize mechanical rooms and equipment.
• Respond to on-call emergency repairs after hours.
• Install or repair furniture and perform wall/ceiling work as needed.
• Assist other trades and participate in safety meetings.
