MSS Solutions, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician - Roper III to support Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Charleston, SC. The role covers electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and general facility maintenance to ensure reliable operations.

Responsibilities include performing preventive and corrective maintenance, reacting to on-call emergencies, maintaining logs, and collaborating with other trades. A High School diploma and hands-on health-care facility experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• 3+ years of experience in repair and maintenance of health care facilities including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and physical plant equipment.
• Fluent in English to speak, read and write clearly.
• Working knowledge of computers.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and maintain records.
• Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Electrical: Repair and maintain lighting fixtures, ballasts, and circuit switches.
• Electrical: Repair, replace and/or maintain 115V outlets and circuits.
• Electronic systems: Operate and test fire alarm, security, timers.
• Plumbing: Repair/replace toilets, valves, and related plumbing issues.
• Plumbing: Maintain drains, roof drains, valves, and water systems.
• Carpentry: Repair furniture and wall patches; install/repair tile; roofing repairs.
• HVAC: Operate and maintain HVAC systems; change filters; lubricate components.
• General: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance; clean and organize work areas.
• Respond to on-call emergency repairs; document actions and close work orders.
