Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum 3+ years in repair/maintenance of health care facilities.
• English fluency in speaking, reading and writing.
• Working knowledge of computers and basic record keeping.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Electrical: Repair/maintain lighting fixtures, ballasts, circuits.
• Electrical: Repair/maintain 115V outlets and circuits.
• Electronic systems: Test and operate fire alarm, security, timers.
• Plumbing: Repair/maintain toilets, drains, valves, water filters.
• Plumbing: Clear drainage and shut off valves as needed.
• Carpentry: Repair/assemble furniture and patch walls.
• Carpentry: Install/repair ceramic tile and roofing materials.
• HVAC: Operate systems, replace filters, lubricate components.
• HVAC: Assist in repairing HVAC equipment and coils.
• General: Maintain clean, organized mechanical rooms and logs.
• General: Complete work orders on time; assist other trades.
• General: Respond to on-call emergencies and after-hours work.
