Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; formal training or certification in maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing or related field preferred.
• Healthcare or skilled nursing maintenance experience highly desirable.
• Previous maintenance experience in healthcare settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on facility systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical issues.
• Ensure safety compliance and address hazards immediately.
• Respond to after-hours maintenance requests as needed.
• Coordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and storage, and assist with general upkeep.
• Communicate status of requests clearly to management and staff.
