Job summary

Nebraska Orthopaedic Center is seeking a dependable Facility Maintenance Technician to support daily operations across clinical and administrative areas. This role performs preventive maintenance, responds to repairs, and coordinates with vendors to keep HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems in top condition.

The ideal candidate will have a High school diploma or GED, strong attendance, and the physical ability to lift up to 100 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Regular and reliable attendance required.
• Heavy lifting up to 100 lbs may be required.
• Exposure to extreme outdoor heat/cold and cleaning chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Regulates and monitors facility temperatures and basic systems in accordance with specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Performs routine facility maintenance and minor repairs across building systems.
• Coordinates with outside vendors for repairs, inspections, and preventive maintenance.
• Maintains documentation for generators, life-safety equipment, and other facility systems.
