Job summary

Villa At Rose City is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the facility's interior and exterior areas. The role ensures a safe, clean, and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors by addressing maintenance requests and working with the environmental services team.

Responsibilities include inspections, minor repairs, safety adherence, equipment maintenance, and documenting activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience performing maintenance duties in healthcare or industrial settings.
• Associate's degree, trade program certificates, or equivalent work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with Administrator regarding facility operations and equipment.
• Lead inspection tours and coordinate with inspectors when needed.
• Perform routine maintenance including repairs to doors, windows, lighting, minor tile, wallpaper, painting, and drywall.
• Perform snow/ice removal and lawn care.
• Repair or replace furniture and pumps; maintain and repair kitchen equipment.
