Job summary

Azria Health Park Place is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support daily operations in Des Moines, IA. You will operate floor machines, help ensure resident safety, and assist the Maintenance Director with routine tasks and on-call coverage.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a strong work ethic. You must be able to work Monday–Friday, with on-call every other week, and maintain equipment cleanliness and safe operating practices across all areas.

Qualifications

• Must be experienced with floor machines and safety.
• Maintain a high level of work performance & safety in all areas.
• Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
• Must be able to work as a team member and have a love for the residents.
• Solid work ethic, with quality customer service, and others in mind.
• Must be reliable & keep to schedule & must be willing to learn.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
• Report any unsafe or unusual conditions to Maintenance Director.
• Report directly to Maintenance Director with strong leadership skills.
• All other job related duties as assigned by Housekeeping Supervisor & Maintenance Director.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain floor machines safely and effectively.
• Keep equipment clean and in good working order.
• Follow directions from the Maintenance Director and supervisors.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams.
• Be on-call every other week as required.
• Assist with routine maintenance tasks and safety compliance.
