Job summary
Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to maintain and repair building systems across our portfolio, with emphasis on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety in healthcare settings.
The role requires hands-on technical skills, the ability to read blueprints, operate CMMS, and coordinate with licensed electricians and vendors. Candidates should have at least 5 years in facilities maintenance and be flexible for after-hours work.
Qualifications
- Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a healthcare or medical setting.
- Preferred: Experience in multifamily housing, commercial properties, or with individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges.
Responsibilities
- Complete and accurately record maintenance work orders.
- Understand building plans and specifications at each location within portfolio.
- Maintain HVAC systems and associated equipment.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and electrical work as directed.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs.
- Assist in renovations, preventative maintenance, and capital projects.
- Carry the emergency maintenance phone on a rotating schedule.
- Be available for evening, weekend, or emergency work.
