Job summary

OPCO Skilled Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a healthcare-focused center in Garland, Texas. You will oversee maintenance, laundry, and housekeeping activities, coordinating with nurses and physicians to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, while keeping the center sanitary and well-maintained.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of supervisory experience, HVAC and maintenance skills, and are willing to train in healthcare environments.

Qualifications

• One to two years of supervisory experience in a commercial establishment with knowledge of laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• Minimum of 2 years work experience in long-term care preferred.
• HVAC experience.
• Maintenance experience.
• Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Environmental Services staff and daily work to enhance service levels while controlling budgets and resolving interdepartmental issues.
• Executes the preventive maintenance program and record-keeping to keep the center in top physical condition.
• Maintains center documentation of maintenance activities including parts and fuel records.
• Performs routine maintenance and repairs in accordance with applicable codes and regulations.
• Collaborates with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on environmental service requests and infection prevention; communicates progress to management.
• Other duties may be assigned at any time.
