Job summary

Artic Wellness Centers is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the environmental services and maintenance team within our healthcare facility in Garland, TX. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with building codes and health standards.

Strong leadership and hands-on technical skills are essential. You will work with residents and clinical staff to address requests, resolve issues, and maintain a sanitary, safe environment.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 1–2 years supervisory experience in a commercial setting with laundry/housekeeping/maintenance procedures.
• 2 years of work experience in long-term care preferred.
• HVAC experience required.
• Maintenance experience required.
• Healthcare experience preferred but can be trained if needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise environmental services and maintenance staff in the center.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and keep records of maintenance activities.
• Maintain center records for parts, materials, and fuel supply.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs per regulations and codes.
• Collaborate with residents, nurses, physicians and staff on service requests and infection prevention.
• Communicate with management on best practices.
