Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a Maintenance Director to oversee the facility's physical plant, essential equipment, and safety systems. You will manage maintenance staff, coordinate preventive maintenance, and ensure compliance with Life Safety Code and regulations to protect residents and staff.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in physical plant operations, a high school diploma or equivalent, and basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year experience in physical plant operations and equipment maintenance.
• Basic working knowledge of a computer (i.e. Microsoft Office Suite).

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility's physical plant and equipment in safe operating condition.
• Establishes and conducts scheduled maintenance for all equipment and systems.
• Monitors and maintains emergency power, fire detection, alarms and life-support systems.
• Supervises maintenance staff and evaluates performance across units and shifts.
• Ensures compliance with OSHA safety regulations and conducts QA and record-keeping.
