Qualifications

• Standard facility maintenance skills including plumbing repairs and basic electrical troubleshooting.

• Flooring and tile work installations and repairs.
• Structural maintenance and drywall taping for facility upkeep.

Your future role at a glance

• Location: Chicago, IL

• Schedule: Day shift l Full-time

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Standard Plumbing & Mechanical Maintenance: Execute standard facility plumbing repairs, monitor pipe circulation, handle fixture installations, and perform basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Advanced Carpentry & Cabinetry Installation: Construct, repair, and install custom and standard cabinetry, countertops, shelving, doors, frameworks, and wood structures according to blueprints or layouts.
• Flooring & Tile Work: Perform hands‑on installation, repair, and replacement of various flooring materials, cove bases, ceiling tiles, and wall/floor tile work.
• General Structural Maintenance: Perform architectural repairs, drywall taping, structural woodwork adjustments, and finish work to ensure the facility remains fully functional.
• Environment Safety: Assist departments across the facility to maintain a safe, secure, and compliant environment for patients and staff.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
