Job summary

Ascension is seeking an entry-level construction role at Ascension Columbia St. Mary’s Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. You will support healthcare project management using your mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge while learning systems like eBuilder.

Responsibilities include documenting projects, coordinating planning and design, tracking budgets and timelines, and contributing to standard policies and tools for consistent delivery across facilities.

Qualifications

• Drivers License obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree with 1 year of experience OR 5 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• 2 years of leadership or management experience preferred.
• Construction experience is strongly preferred.
• Healthcare experience would be a plus.

• Maintain secure project documentation and train new hires on internal systems such as eBuilder.
• Coordinate with teams to ensure high-quality project delivery.
• Monitor projects for risks and KPIs and report progress to stakeholders.
• Help develop a national framework of policies, procedures, and tools for standardization.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Entry-level role designed for a proactive learner, offering a clear path for growth as you utilize your knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing in large-scale construction project management within healthcare.
• Manage secure project documentation and facilitate training for new hires on internal systems, including eBuilder and design standards.
• Coordinate the planning, design, and construction of projects by tracking budgets, schedules, and scopes to ensure high-quality delivery.
• Assist in developing and maintaining a national framework of policies, procedures, and tools to standardize construction management and facility compliance.
• Monitor ongoing projects for risks and key metrics, while establishing consistent communication schedules to keep stakeholders informed of progress.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:
