Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Building Engineer to monitor, maintain and repair building systems across healthcare environments in Memphis, TN. You will support plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling, and life-safety systems while ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience.
• Universal CFC certification preferred.
• Ability to lift/carry heavy loads up to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Knowledge of codes, safety regulations and building operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, fire life safety and control systems.
• Ensure building systems remain up to standards and operate efficiently.
• Follow codes and safety directives; maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and emergency repairs as needed.
• Review building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing for performance.
