Job summary

Lionstone Healthcare is seeking an Administrator to oversee administrative, clinical, and financial operations of the facility. You will collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality resident care and efficient operations.

The role requires a Nursing Home Administrator license, a relevant degree, and strong decision-making abilities. Expect engagement with regulatory bodies and staff development initiatives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree is required. A degree in Public Health Administration or Business Administration, or a health related degree is preferred.
• Must possess a current, unencumbered Nursing Home Administrator's license or meet the licensure requirements of this State.
• Must be able to understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion.
• Must be knowledgeable of supply practices, procedures, and guidelines.
• Must possess the ability to minimize waste of supplies, misuse of equipment, etc.
• Must possess the ability to seek out new methods and principles and be willing to incorporate them into existing practices.
• Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Facility's programs and activities in accordance with guidelines issued by the Regional Director of Operations.
• Develop and maintain written policies and procedures and professional standards of practice that govern the operation of the Facility.
• Assist department directors in developing written job descriptions and performance-based job evaluations for each staff position.
• Ensure that all employees, residents, visitors, and the general public follow the Facility's established policies and procedures.
• Represent the Facility at and participate in top-level meetings.
• Represent the Facility in dealings with outside agencies, including governmental agencies and third party payers.
