Job summary

Meritus Health is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to keep our healthcare campus running smoothly. You will inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electromechanical systems, while performing preventive maintenance on facility equipment and utilities.

You will tackle complex issues, plan daily work, and ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, contributing to a safe and reliable environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Trade or vocational training in relevant skills preferred.
• 1 year minimum in building systems maintenance, repair, and installation.
• Strong background in electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical and electromechanical systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and utilities.
• Tackle complex issues, including equipment modifications and partial redesigns.
• Plan and record daily work assignments and PM schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable codes and safety standards.
