Job summary

Corewell Health offers a 2027 summer internship in the Facilities Department, based at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids with occasional travel to Blodgett or other local facilities. The role provides hands-on experience across maintenance operations, skilled trades, and building systems, with assignments tailored to the intern’s interests while supporting accreditation and space refresh needs.

Qualifications

• Preferred High School Diploma or equivalent, currently enrolled in high school, or currently enrolled in a university pursuing an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in the area of accountability.

Responsibilities

• Completes support tasks as directed and maintains documentation of actions taken.
• May analyze department processes and Corewell Health systems encountered and suggest improvements where appropriate.
• Participates in quality monitoring activities and process improvement initiatives.
• Communicates, collaborates, and acts as a team player to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
