Job summary

Brooks Rehabilitation Hospital in Phoenix seeks a Manager of System Facilities and Maintenance to lead the maintenance and safety programs for the system's clinical settings. You will supervise the department, coordinate with leased-site owners, and ensure exterior and interior upkeep meets health and safety standards.

The role requires healthcare operations experience, strong communication, and budget acumen, with collaboration across safety, risk, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in large organization maintenance.
• Experience in a healthcare setting required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to build relationships at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operation of the maintenance department, including preventive tasks and work requests.
• Serve as facilities liaison to leased-site property owners and manage interior maintenance needs.
• Manage outside contractors/vendors and ensure regulatory compliance (JC, CARF, Infection Control, etc.).
• Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; monitor costs, regulations and priorities.
• Assist with safety, security, and preparedness programs; attend key management meetings.
• Prepare records for accreditation and regulatory purposes; coordinate with safety and risk teams.
