Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ to manage daily operations of the facilities engineering team and ensure safe, efficient building systems. The role requires strong leadership across multiple trades and hands-on supervision of engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in building maintenance and engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, or HVAC).
• Trade School Certification or military engineering experience; equivalent education acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily engineering operations for safe, efficient building systems.
• Lead a team of Building Engineers I–IV and coordinate maintenance tasks.
• Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues.
• Manage staffing, equipment, and materials for department needs.
• Coordinate regulatory inspections and ensure compliance with standards (NFPA, CMS, FGI, ASHRAE).
• Collaborate with healthcare leaders and partners on facility improvements.
• Ensure adherence to safety, health, and regulatory requirements.
