Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a Facilities/Operations Manager for its Davie Medical Center – Engineers team. Responsibilities include planning staffing, managing maintenance programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance for a 24/7 operation.

You will supervise budgets, labor, and energy usage while coordinating with Administration and clinicians. The role requires a Trades certificate or higher with progressive leadership experience, plus strong IT skills and a driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in a facility operations/maintenance environment.
• Experience with budget reports, CMMS dashboards, energy reporting.
• Proven ability to develop and implement standards and audits.

Responsibilities

• Plan and direct day-to-day facilities/maintenance operations.
• Manage staffing, budgets, and labor expenses for the site.
• Coordinate with site admin, vendors, and contractors on projects.
