Job summary

Advocate Health in North Carolina seeks an experienced Facilities/Operations and Maintenance Manager for Davie Medical Center - Engineers. You will plan, coordinate, and direct day-to-day facility operations to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee budgeting, labor, energy and capital projects, lead a team, and implement standards and audit methods to meet state/federal requirements, while coordinating with site administration, vendors, and contractors.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.
Trades Certificate with 3 years of progressive leadership experience or 5 years progressive leadership experience.
Associate degree or BS/BA degree preferred.
Trades license and/or CHFM preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead facility operations/maintenance at the assigned site to meet regulatory compliance and life-safety standards.
Coordinate labor, supplies, and budgets including energy management.
Interface with site administration, vendors, and contractors to ensure safe and reliable facilities.
Develop and implement audit methodologies and staff training.
Oversee capital projects and safety compliance across departments.
