Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an experienced facilities engineer to support a 24/7 operation at Davie Medical Center. The role involves staffing, maintenance program oversight, and infrastructure oversight across a busy campus.

You will use CMMS dashboards and budget reports to drive decisions, ensure regulatory compliance, and coordinate cross-departmental services. Leadership in healthcare facilities and strong computer skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.
• Trades Certificate with 3 years of progressive leadership experience or 5 years progressive leadership experience.
• Experience leading in a facility operations/maintenance environment.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office 365.

Responsibilities

• Establish staffing complement and readiness for 24/7 operation.
• Recommend and maintain maintenance and asset programs.
• Utilize budget reports and CMMS dashboards for decisions.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and keep inspection records.
• Analyze root causes of failures and implement solutions.
• Support development of goals and coordination across departments.
• Communicate with Administration, Director, staff, patients and families.
