Job summary

Shady Grove Medical Center, part of Adventist HealthCare, seeks an experienced Facilities Operations Supervisor to lead the facilities team and uphold regulatory standards. You will supervise staff, oversee maintenance tasks, and coordinate with the Facilities leadership to support campus and select non-acute locations.

The role emphasizes coaching, budgeting support, on-call duties, and collaboration with security, safety, infection prevention, and construction teams.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Years of supervision experience: Minimum of 1 year is preferred. Healthcare environment preferred.
• Years of relevant experience: Minimum of 5 to 7 years is preferred. Healthcare environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise facilities maintenance team with coaching and development.
• Coordinate with Facilities Operations Manager and Facilities Project Manager.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and align with Joint Commission and CMS standards.
• Manage work orders, preventive maintenance, and performance metrics.
• Provide on-call coverage and support to other departments as needed.
