Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead staffing, performance reviews, and training across a health system facility. You will supervise maintenance of buildings, equipment, and offsite locations, while coordinating with supervisors to ensure timely execution of work orders and safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years in hospital facilities, leadership experience, and extensive knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and regulatory codes. A CHFM/CHSP preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in healthcare facilities or related field or equivalent experience
• 3+ hospital or healthcare facilities/biomed experience
• 3+ leadership experience
• Equivalent combo of education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree

Responsibilities

• Manage staffing, performance evaluation, and training activities
• Oversee maintenance of buildings, equipment, and offsite facilities
• Review maintenance requests and schedule tasks for technicians
• Order stock items to maintain efficiency
• Supervise electrical, HVAC, plumbing and life safety systems
• Direct ground maintenance activities as needed
• Perform interviews, hiring, evaluations and payroll tasks
