Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Security Supervisor for Shady Grove Medical Center. You will lead security operations, develop schedules, manage incidents, and coordinate with law enforcement and facilities teams to ensure safety and service quality.

The role requires hospital security experience, supervisory background, and MD Commission eligibility; strong communication and leadership skills are essential. On-site, full-time with benefits and shift-based scheduling.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3-5 years of previous security experience, hospital setting preferred.
• 1-2 years of supervisory/management experience, hospital setting preferred.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.
• Must qualify for Maryland Special Police Commission (Clean Criminal History).
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Aufgaben

• Develop monthly schedules and enter bi-weekly payroll.
• Document all security incidents, patrols, and activities in logs.
• Coordinate with law enforcement, emergency responders, and external partners.
• Collaborate with facilities management and HR to address needs.
• Handle interviewing, selection, and onboarding training.
• Relief coverage and post coverage as needed.
• Monitor CCTV and manage parking gates remotely.
• Create employee and contractor badges; log entries in access systems.
• Respond to codes and incidents; exercise good judgment under tense situations.
